 WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

APOCALYPSE THEATRE

There is a rock and roll story regarding a band called Apocalypse Theatre (aka Apox) who found themselves shipwrecked after a decade of homeless restless adventures, tragedy and triumphs in the heartlands of America (which they began to ♥)  Apocalypse Theatre (Apox) originated in Washington DC and moved to San Francisco in the late 1990s. They had played over 1000 gigs in 48 states and grew a caravan of sideshows and artisans from all over USA called The Revolution Circus in pursuit not of fame but of a lifestyle. This misfit goth-punk Apox troupe embraced electronics and acoustics and enjoyed mutating all musical genres and as they played from coast to coast/cities/towns/suburbs/farms while fueling the machine working/playing for events like The Burning Man Festival & Anarchy Village, they also performed bills supporting acts like Pigface, Thrill KIll Kult, Cruxshadows, Christian Death, Faith & The Muse, Switchblade Symphony, Fugazi & many many others. Some members went on to join/play in some of the aforementioned, some would abandon ship, some started businesses/families even got into goverment and some simply kept the campfires burning.

After Apox released their 3rd and last official CD "Lost in America" on Invisible Records the all too familiar pages of time kept turning until the book reached the cliff hanger... Still, even now, a few of them including V. Mercy and Mad Kat have been hanging on ever since. These survivors built a batcave clubhouse/AV studio with a crew on the Mississippi River's edge, in the warehouse wastelands in Minneapolis Minnesota. So where are they now? Well... Apox has been asked to breathe again. They are performing in The Heartland starting in Wisconsin.
